Aaron Sorkin: America's Greatest Screenwriter | A Film History Digest

Aaron Sorkin's ability to transfer seamlessly over from a playwright to screenwriting is surprisingly well-executed. As any potential screenwriter has noticed, his cadence, meter, and snarky dialogue have become a staple of his writing and led to some of the most critically acclaimed movies in the past 2 decades. The Social Network is one of his greatest examples of dialogue matched with execution, and in this episode of the Art of Film on Film History Digests, we'll go over how David Fincher's director style is complemented by Sorkin's writing and his attention to detail.
